DNS Management with Go Daddy
June 17, 2007
Would you believe that I learned something new just from signing up for Blogger? As I was setting up a custom domain for this blog, I learned from Blogger's help system that my domain registrar, Go Daddy, allows you to manage your DNS settings. Not just the name servers, but things like A and CNAME records. That's pretty neat.

I had originally bought my first domain before Go Daddy offerred this feature, and I guess I always assumed I needed my web host to provide DNS services. This is definitely a great feature, so that if I move my sites around I don't need to deal with the hassle of switching name servers and reconfiguring my DNS entries.
